Valerie is awesome. She knows her stuff. Being a control freak it was hard to let go of control, but shortly into the process I knew Valerie was very experienced and with her prompt replies to my questions and concerns I stepped back and trusted her to do her job. Now we have lived in our house for 47 years so this was a new experience for us. Valerie is no nonsense but you still know she cares. Valerie is the bomb! Such a great agent. I recently had a home that needed selling which was in rough shape, and had some title issues. She knew how to navigate it every step of the way. Got it fixed up, sold above asking, multiple offers...all the good stuff. All I can say is take her advice. My wife and I were nervous selling one of our most valuable assets, but Valerie made everything easy. She's a consummate professional, and a great communicator. Would recommend all day.

We were relocated to the SF Bay Area for my partners job. Apartment living for homeowners is not a lot of fun. This lead us to a search both for a home and an agent to help. The Internet is full of search engines to help with the former (well sorta), but how do you find someone to trust? Sheer blind luck.
The stars must have been in alignment to put us in touch with Val. Unknown to us both we had met as a part of a large fund raising event. You know-the sea of faces that pass by, occasionally lingering but constantly moving. We met at her office for the first time and we both paused-I know you!
That was the beginning of a path that we'd never have been able to navigate without such a knowledgable and well connected person. The market here is so different--do it now or else you loose, the crazy paperwork and finding a mortgage (whole other story), people to trust to inspect and fix things. Val's integrity and strength of purpose was a beacon in a sea of more faces and requirements than we've faced in any other real estate transaction.

After multiple offers and countless showings Valerie was finally able to land them the home they wanted. She really knew the market for our area and everything she predicted came true - we got a final offer that was over our starting price, it was only on the market for one week, and it all went as smoothly as it could. She helped me find someone to remove the excess belongings from the unit and even helped me get some things to storage when I was in a jam and couldn't get ahold of a truck.
