I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and turn
and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Helter Skelter -The Beatles
One of the burning questions that we hear all the time is “Have we hit bottom?” Have [...]

The conflict rubs against my grain

It was an interesting weekend out here in Coco County. Gorgeous warm weather on Saturday and nice, but funky wind thing going on today. I took my new bike out and road it along the Canal Trail this afternoon. It’s much simpler to ride the trails than take your chances on surface [...]

Blind red blend tasting
March 12th, 2008 · No Comments
This event looks like a lot of fun for the wanna be sommeliers in the crowd. I like this cute little unassuming place. I’ve been a little under the weather, but if my palette returns, I’m going to try my hand at a blind tasting.

Just in time for summer
March 11th, 2008 · No Comments
As the weather is finally turning the corner, it’s that time of year when we all start thinking about ending our hibernation and getting in a bit better shape. Alavie Fitness (formerly Bay Area Boot Camp) is starting classes up in Heather Farms next week. That’s right! First class is St. Patty’s [...]
